Pascal Finette
Pascal is Director of Mozilla's Open Innovation group and WebFWD, where he works with the wider community inventing the future of the Web. He loves technology and believes that the Internet is deeply impacting mankind. Prior to Mozilla, he led eBay's Platform Solutions Group, launched a consulting practice to help entrepreneurs with their strategy & operations and invested into startups, among other things. Craig Newmark (Craigslist) described Pascal as "a social change maker to watch."
Pascal frequently speaks about and consults Fortune 500 companies on Open Innovation, mentors entrepreneurs at TechStars, Seedcamp, The Unreasonable Institute and many other places. When he doesn't work you can find him running, teaching pro-runners Pilates or preparing espresso shots. |

Bernt WahlBernt Wahl is a mathematician, entrepreneur and author. He served as CEO Factle Corporation, CEO Datahunt, CEO Dynamic Software, and is part of the UC Berkeley Faculty. He teaches Engineering, where he serves as an Industry Fellow at the Center of Entrepreneurship and Technology. In 2002, he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to Malaysia.
Bernt Wahl was an early pioneer in the field of Chaos and Fractal Geometry and authored Exploring Fractals (1994) and co-authored The Fractal Explorer (1991). His firm Dynamic Software (1987) -- which he co-founded with Peter Van Roy—was an early pioneer in mathematical visualization. The work was showcased in the fashion industry including work with the designer Jhane Barnes. In 2001, Bernt Wahl led the management buyout attempt of the search engine company Infoseek through the firm Datahunt. In 2002 he started Factle a search engine focused on specialized search and local demographics. His pioneering work on neighborhood boundaries has become a standard in doing localized demographic analysis. |
